Heading to the Genius Bar appointment today and fingers crossed that they can somehow get the operating system back on my new computer. If not, sadly I am going to be leaving Apple and it’s ecosystem and other services. So is my family who we share the iCloud storage service, and other family members that we have the Apple Music subscription with. 3 dead computers in 3 years, just past their 1 year warranty is just too much. I can run ProTools or audacity on a high spec’d Chromebook via an emulator. And we are all looking forward to the excitement of getting Android phones.
@Apple- you better come through today…
3 weeks until Google Plus (G+) shuts down. Better create an archive by April 2nd if you want to keep anything/everything.
Man, Google has started and then shut down a lot of services in its history. More than any other company that still stays in business. Know why no one else starts a new social media platform similar to Facebook? Because they’ll fail. As long as there’s a Facebook, there will be no other. And we can all thank Friendster for this social media phenomenon- they started the whole thing.
I don’t think this will happen. But it’s still creepy to think that some want this to happen. Think of all the Porn you will no longer to be able to search for and watch. Yeah, think about that, you horny f*ckers.
So, with this upcoming new year right around the corner, I feel I have to add something new to my arsenal of content creativity. It can’t all be #VanLife, juvenile humor, and pictures of adorable kittens :-). So I decided to do very short reviews of every product I purchase from Amazon.com for the year 2018. This blog post is just a heads up.
Let us not forget, when I started the @VocalVirgo channel on @YouTube, I started off with how much junk mail I would receive during that year. Every time I sat down on the toilet to do a video the first thing I did was show you nosy folks how much more had accumulated since the last video.
You may now go back to what you were doing.
Has anybody else noticed that Prime deliveries are taking 3-5 days during this Christmas season? It wasn’t like this last year. I guess the Sunday USPS drivers have gotten lazy… again.
