So I’m laying here in the loft of the sportsmobile pop-top of my camper van. I have spent the whole day up here having a completely lazy day, watching movies on my iPad and looking out the plastic windows enjoying and appreciating the beautiful scenery all around me. (I mean, who knew…? Nebraska?!). I just finished watching “The Dressmaker“ and holy sh*t. I had no idea. The trailers did not do this movie justice. I mean… I expected it to be average like most every other movie I see… But no. I already said “holy sh*t“, right? Yeah. So… um… It’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen in my whole life. I am completely surprised and shocked and saddened and humbled and proud… and a bunch of other feelings I have no words for. I had no idea. Why isn’t everybody talking about this movie? Was everybody talking about it when it came out a few years ago? Where was I? Has everyone seen this movie? If you’re reading this and you have not seen this movie, go by the DVD, watch it on Amazon Prime, buy it from Vudu or Movies Anywhere or rent it from wherever you buy or rent your digital movies- Just get it and watch it. I insist.
Obviously I missed it, but I was with a bunch of #UglyDogs when I was supposed to be for filling my duties and posting photos or videos of #UglyKittens on #FurryFriday. So let’s all just pretend it’s Friday. 🙂
Enjoy the one minute video of these two little monsters.
Holy crap. I’m driving West on the 85 about 5 miles outside of Humboldt Nevada, and I just saw a livestock cargo trailer totally rolled over and broken open, way down the side and off the highway. There were several flatbed trucks and dump trucks filled with dad, mangled, bloodied sheep. I cannot believe I just saw that. They are just tossing all the bodies and pieces of bodies into the back of dump trucks bar on flatbeds. Trust me, even I am glad I did not stop and try to take a picture of it. It was horrible. And yet I cannot help but think, does she probably had a better dad than what they would’ve experienced when they got to where they were being shipped to…
This guy shows up at anyone’s door if he thinks their car is parked in front of, or near, his house. He can not comprehend that it is a PUBLIC street.
