Look at the date of this recall sheet. I’m not sure if they knew that they were about to get caught, or if they had a completely different unrelated tweak to do. But I do remember being in Indiana when the service was performed, and the vehicle ran a little crappy for a couple of days. And then the efficiency shot up by 5-10 MPG. Before the service was done in September 2015, the vehicle was getting about 45 to 50 miles per gallon on the highway going at about 85 miles an hour. Now doing the same 85 mph on the highway the car gets anywhere between 55 and 60 miles per gallon.
So what’s up?
